Indian Celebrities: Katrina cracks a joke on John!

While John Abraham has been limping with a fractured foot during the promotional campaign of New York , his co-star Katrina Kaif is not missing a chance to pull his leg, not literally though. After promoting the film in Delhi earlier this week and making a hush-hush trip to Ajmer to pray for the film’s success, Katrina was in Bangalore on Wednesday, along with the other stars of the film - John, Neil Nitin Mukesh and director Kabir Khan . John, who’s been hobbling around on a crutch ever since he injured his foot on the sets of Hook Ya Crook , became the butt of Katrina’s joke when he was asked the cause of his injury. Katrina replied on John’s behalf:

“Well we had a fight, but since I am a little stronger this is what happened to his leg. If he picks a fight with me again, the same thing will happen to his other leg also.” John took the joke sportingly and said the doctors have advised him not to put weight on his injured leg for two more weeks. Speaking about the film, the actors said ‘New York’ is basically about the bonding between three friends while 9/11 forms the backdrop of their story. ‘New York’ releases on June 26. It is the first Yashraj Films release of the year.
