Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat joined the league of Hollywood celebs including Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Victoris Beckham, David Beckham and Paris Hilton, after a Hollywood milkshake was named after her. Mallika, who visited Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood, has been honored with her very own milkshake called the ‘Mallika shake’, reports ‘Contactmusic’. The Mallika shake includes blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and chocolate sauce. To make the shake more appealing, it has been topped with whipped cream. Meanwhile, the actress is in Tinseltown to promote her new h0rr0r film ‘Hisss’.

Why is Ranbir Kapoor in hiding?

Why is Ranbir Kapoor hiding himself nowadays? The reason apparently is more professional than personal. The actor reportedly doesn’t want to reveal his new bearded look for director Shimit Amin ’s film Rocket Singh and is home-alone for the time being. But that’s not the only reason. The chikna boy of Saawariya and Bachna Ae Haseeno is also shy of his half-grown beard and perhaps conscious that it doesn’t yet look good on him. In ‘Rocket Singh’, Ranbir plays a Sikh guy and thus it was required for him to grow beard to suit the character. It’s been reported that Ranbir is so guarded about his bearded look that he even refused to accompany his mom and dad, Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor for vacations in Dubai.

Both Neetu and Rishi were in Delhi for the shooting of a film where they are acting opposite each other. So when the couple wrapped up their month long shooting, they decided to take a vacation, but have to go without their son. The sardar look became a rage in Bollywood when Akshay Kumar ’s Singh Is Kinng got released. Throughout the movie Akki was in turban. In fact, for Imtiaz Ali ’ s next Love Aaj Kal , chote nawab Saif Ali Khan too is turning into a Sikh for a few sequences. Their wonderful chemistry is reportedly extended beyond the shoots. Our source says, “Salman and Asin have become extremely close to each other and Salman is extra protective about her. Apparently, Asin’s bedroom has pictures of Sallu all over… This only proves that she is really fond of him.

Ranbir Kapoor has been in news for both professional and personal reasons and especially for the supposed tiffs with the sassy girlfriend Deepika Padukone, due to his closeness with Salman Khan’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Jiah Khan loses some, gains some

Whether she chose to step out or was replaced from the movie ‘Yahoo’, Jiah Khan has signed three films with Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena. Reports divulge that Jiah felt dejected after being dropped from Ken Ghosh’s movie Yahoo because of certain changes in the script. Jiah worked hard for this project and even brushed up her dancing skills as the movie is based on dance. According to sources, the Nishabd girl had almost completed 90 percent of her part when this sudden change happened. This incident upset Mantena and he signed her for a three-film deal without giving a second thought to anything. And one of the projects is said to be the sequel of ‘Ghajini’.

Another story from Jiah’s side doing the rounds is that the actress has been replaced by Sonal Chauhan of Jannat fame in director Owais Hussain’s debut venture. Owais, son of noted painter M F Hussain, had cast Jiah opposite Anurag Sinha , who acted in Black and White . But when the shooting was about to start, it was Sonal who was finalized for the project. Poor Jiah, now she has lost two movies. Jiah Khan, who has worked with superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in her first two films, is still finding hard to clinch good projects. What ‘Ghajini’ success did to Asin , it couldn’t do the same for Jiah. However, a two-film deal with UTV and now three films with the ‘Ghajini’ producer must have eased her pain a bit.

Celina Jaitley wanted to arouse sensuousness in my bikini shoot

Bollywood siren Celina Jaitley is grabbing many eyeballs nowadays through her sizzling two-piece bikini shoot for a popular film magazine. While many in the industry believe that Celina’s bikini photoshoot for Stardust magazine is an attempt to garner publicity, the sexy belle says the purpose of the shoot was not to milk any mileage but to portray a face of the ever-changing Indian woman. “My intention was not to portray sexiness or how much can one bare. My intention was to portray the beauty of the ever-changing Indian woman, someone who is beautiful, more modern as well as more comfortable with her sexuality,” Celina is quoted by IANS as saying.

But does Celina feel she’s achieved what she wanted to through this shoot? “Well, the way response has been so far, I guess I have. My intention was to arouse the sensuousness with beauty and dignity and not vulgarity and I have pretty much managed to achieve that,” said the actress. When asked what inspired her in the first place to slip into a bikini for the shoot, Celina said it was a swimwear photoshoot of her favourite supermodel Kate Moss. “I had seen this fabulous swimwear shoot of one of my favourite models, Kate Moss. I instantly knew that I had to do something on the same lines,” Celina revealed to the news agency. Celina is pretty happy with the quality of the photoshoot pictures. She feels her look in the images is much different from those of other Bollywood babes who’ve posed in bikinis recently.

Lisa Ray turns lesbian

Lisa Ray who is best remembered for the Oscar nominee Deepa Mehta’s Oscar is again hitting the headlines for her lesbian role in ‘The World Unseen’ and ‘I Can’t Think Straight’. Both the films are directed by the same director Shamim Sarif. In both the films the lead characters are the same, Lisa Ray and Anglo babe, Sheetal Seth. Actor Parvin Dabas, who plays Omar Lisa Ray’s character, Miriam’s husband in ‘The World Unseen’, talks a bit about the film.

He says, "It was set in during a time when apartheid was still legal in South Africa." He adds that he was sold on the script, story and setting. "This film (The World Unseen)," he says, "is more about the times it is set in, rather than about its sexual theme." The two films have a restricted release in the US in November 2008, ‘I Can’t Think Straight’ released in the UK on April 3. Lisa Ray always involved in controversial film and this time also she is yet again in another contentious role.

Akshay, Twinkle will be arrested shortly

Akshay Kumar may have to pay a heavy price for his unbuttoning act at the Lakme fashion week. He along with his wife Twinkle and the organizers of LFW will be arrested shortly in response to the complained registered by social activist, Anil Nair.

According to Arvind Mahabdi, ACP, “We’ll make the arrests soon and then take their statements.” The police is yet to send orders to the pair. The spokesperson of Akshay, Sanchita said, “We’ll respond when the police approach us.” However the couple is in the safe side as the offence is bailable and after three months of imprisonment, they may be released on bail. On April 13, the faith of Akki and Twinkle will be decided. A case has been filed against them in the Meerut police station.

Ayesha Takia Talks On Her Life After Marriage

“We went all over Europe for our honeymoon. Farhan knows London well because he studied there. We relaxed, walked the streets, went into cosy cafes. Now we’re back in the heat of Mumbai,” says Ayesha Takia. So how is she finding life after marriage? “Honestly I can’t see the difference between before and after the wedding. Twinkle-Akshay in trouble

At the recent Lakme Fashion Week, Akshay Kumar walked down the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani. While he did this jig on the ramp, he took a pit stop and walked off the stage to wifey Twinkle and indulged in a bit of “fun play.” He forced Twinkle to unbutton his jeans causing some in the crowd to roar with delight and others to drop their jaw in shock. It was all fun and play for the couple and the audiences, but social activists in the public have taken great offense to the act deeming it “obscene.” They have gone ahead and filed a police report against the organizers and the couple. If they are found guilty of the crime, a case will be registered and further action will be taken.

Akshay Kumar was quick to do damage control, apologizing for his "indecent act" saying, “If I have hurt anyone’s sentiments with my actions, I am sorry because I did not mean to do that." The activists claim, “Celebrities spark controversies by applying such tactics. How can a person, who was honored with Padma Shri award by the government, behave like this in public?” Akshay Kumar will be called into the Police Station where the complaint was lodged, for questioning.

Akshay, Kareena set to rock together

The on-screen chemistry between Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar is being touted as one of the highlights of the action comedy Kambakkht Ishq. Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman, while Kareena features as a model in the film. "The two look hot together. Akshay and Kareena will set the screen on fire. The duo share such a good chemistry on screen," said a source close to the project. Ever since their 2004 film Aitraaz became a hit, their on-screen chemistry was touted as one of the best.

Apart from Aitraaz, they teamed for films like Talaash, Bewafaa and Tashan, but none of these could ape the success story of Aitraaz. Now all eyes are set on Kambakkht Ishq. The film, which is scheduled for May release, also stars Hollywood biggies. "The film is an exciting marriage between the East and the West. The movie is a romantic comedy but features a lot of action. Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards play interesting roles in the film," said producer Sajid Nadiadwala in a press statement.

Aishwarya refuses to become Barbie

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has declined to be immortalised as a Barbie doll due to her professional commitments. It was earlier reported that representatives of the 35-year-old actress were in negotiations with Barbie’s manufacturer Mattel, who planned to give the iconic doll a Bollywood face. But the deal did not take off. Since 1994 when Aishwarya won the Miss World title, the company has made numerous attempts to make a celebrity doll modelled on the Indian beauty. However, she could never get time for their endeavour, due to her professional commitments, she said. Yet again on the doll’s 50th anniversary, Aishwarya was approached to appear decked up as a celebrity Barbie.

"Mattel was keen to have the actress walk the ramp on Lakme Fashion Week ’Barbie dolled up’ in a winning design as Single Likeness Barbie, which would be unveiled and auctioned for a charity of her choice," said a statement issued by Aishwarya’s spokesperson. However, the actress opted out due to her prior commitments as she did not want to cause inconvenience to the film-makers she was working with by taking time out for the event.

Ajay Devgan Turns 40 With A Quiet Family Get-Together

Ajay Devgan who turned 40 on Thursday said it felt like any other day. “Is 40 really a special age to be ? I don’t feel anything special. It’s like any other day. I shot the entire day. No celebrations, nothing that I don’t do normally.” Nudge him a little more , and Ajay admits there was a family get-together. “My entire family, my parents , sister, brother-in-law my wife and daughter were all together for a dinner . But that’s something I do every time I get the chance. Yes, there was a cake. But I didn’t cut it.My daughter did.” Life at 40 for Ajay means more work. “All the Best, the comedy directed by Rohit Shetty that I’m producing,is currently being shot. So I was busy shooting that. For me there’s no life as satisfying as work and family.”

Ajay will be directing a film later this year. “It will be a dark comic thriller. And no, there will be no Kajol in it. For those who want to see us together there’s the animation film Toonpur Ka Super-hero.” Ajay admits the animation film is taking longer than expected. “But that isn’t because of recession. Animation is a very time-taking process. It needs lots of patience.” Any new promises to keep at 40? “None I feel physically and creatively fitter at 40 than I did at 30. The only new resolution is to devote more time to my blog. It has been renovated. I had been neglecting it. But now I intend to devote time regularly to it.Otherwise everything is the same. I still refuse to work with those I don’t like.”
