Even before the release of his directorial debut, D’Souza had been speaking about doing his second film with John Abraham. The director was so vocal about his desire to work with John that he all but confirmed the star’s presence in not just one but two of his forthcoming films - ‘Aerial’ and ‘Blue 2’.

Meanwhile, John is amused that D’Souza is chalking out plans of doing films with him without even having any discussions.

While D’Souza must have thought that after the good run of ‘Blue’, John would be game to work with him, the actor has now dashed the director’s big claims by diplomatically stating that he’s not signed any film with him.

“I have immense respect for Anthony...however, I am neither doing any film titled Aerial nor any underwater film. I am also not doing Blue 2,” John is quoted as saying by a tabloid.

Meanwhile, the buzz is that Anthony wants to reprise the cast of ‘Blue’ in the film’s sequel as well.

For the film, set to release this Friday, Salman participated in a unique promotional campaign, when he took the seat on the ticket-selling counter at a multiplex in Daryaganj, Old Delhi.

Though the film’s other star Ajay Devgan was missing, Salman handled the promotional event all by himself. As fans jostled in the queue and many of them did not leave the ticket window until Salman shook hands with them, the superstar obliged his admirers with his distinct charm and wit.

Some fans even asked for the star’s autograph while buying the tickets; other clicked his snap on their cellphones.

The fan frenzy got out of hand at times and the police had to discipline the crowd now and then. But Salman was enjoying it all. He always responded when fans spoke to him and told them to go and watch the film with their family.

‘London Dreams’, set for release this Friday, has Salman playing a talented musician from Punjab. The movie is a story of two friends who drift apart because one of them gets fame and the other does not. Asin plays the duo’s common love interest.

Just last year, Shilpa was the showstopper for Tarun’s fashion show at the HDIL India Couture Week where she wore a heavy lehenga choli that had intricate work on it.

Tarun admits he’s been asked by Shilpa to design her wedding dress, but he refuses to reveal what he plans to create for the actress.

“I can't talk about the details of the outfits but I can tell you that she will look absolutely stunning,” Tahiliani told a news agency on the sidelines of his show at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) on Saturday.

When asked if he would design Shilpa’s dresses for the mehendi and sangeeth ceremonies as well, Tarun gave a terse reply.

“I'll design everything!” he said without elaborating.

Rumours are abuzz that Shilpa and Raj might tie the knot either by the end of this year or early next year.

A source says,“Producer Boney Kapoor announced Most Wanted as he was keen to repeat the magic of Wanted by working with the same team again. When Prabhu suggested Nayanthara’s name for the female lead, Boney, who knows that the actress is a big name in the south, was glad to have her on board.”

When Boney was asked about the same, he said, “Nothing has been finalized. We have just got an idea right now and are working on it.”

Nayanthara is incidentally director Prabhu Deva’s alleged girlfriend.

Folks eager to see Salman doing his jalwa again in Most Wanted?

The lesser-known fact is that there is another love interest of Hrithik in the film. Without any hoo-ha, Bhansali has signed up Bengali model Monikangana Dutta to essay the character of Hrithik’s former lover.

Interestingly, Aishwarya’s character in the film is a married woman. Newcomer Aditya Roy Kapoor plays her husband.

So even though she is married, Ash gets attracted to the poetically philosophical paraplegic, played by Hrithik, who wants to put an end to his misery by ending his life. The film deals with the issue of euthanasia from a humane perspective.

Bhansali admits to have signed Monikangana for a “pivotal role” in the film. However, the length of her role won’t be very long. 

A very challenging film for both actors, Yash Raj’s Aditya Chopra was so impressed by Deepika’s performance in the Box Office smash hit Love Aaj Kal that he was convinced she could pull off the tough role and immediately offered her the film.

Deepika made her acting debut with top director and choreographer Farah Khan in Om Shanti Om. In a short span of time she has proved her mettle beyond her beauty, in film roles directed by the award-winning Imtiaz Ali and Farhan Akhtar among others.

Recently, the moody Khan created a history of sorts by roping in a host of Bollywood stars - including Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Katrina Kaif to walk the ramp for his charity show ‘Being Human’ at HDIL India Couture Week.

So, after the show when the mediapersons cornered Salman and asked him who he thought was the best on the catwalk, the star gave a straightforward reply. He praised everyone from Aamir to Sanjay, but did not mention anything about Katrina.

When a journo prompted him for a response on Katrina’s ramp walk, Salman said: “Katrina has always been good on the ramp, the problem with her was her acting and not walking the ramp.”

Diplomacy definitely isn’t in Salman’s genes.

Why Portuguese? As per sources, the film is set in the Goan period when people used to speak the language. In fact, erected sets of the film shows “Portuguese architecture and style”, reveal sources. The movie’s main cast, Aishwarya and Hrithik apparently will have Portuguese language experts in the sets who will help them with dialogues and the accent.

When it comes to his movies, the industry knows that Bhansali can go to great lengths in the pursuit of perfection. Considering his earlier films, Black and Saawariya, the man prefers everything just so. Similarly he wants ‘Guzaarish’ to be authentic.

The two were lucky to be allowed to shoot in the Realto hotel because the authorities usually don’t give permission to shoot inside the hotel and that too on the 125th floor.

According to a source, when the authorities came to know that two top Bollywood stars were to shoot inside the hotel, they relented and granted the permission with a few conditions attached. The shooting unit had to take extreme care not to damage any of the hotel’s property.

The source adds that both Salman and Bebo were awestruck by the view of Melbourne from the 125th floor of the hotel during the shoot. Since the two have worked together in a number of films before, they were completely comfortable in doing the romantic scenes.

‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ has Salman and Bebo playing a married couple with different priorities. He feels success and wealth are two main things to lead a beautiful life, but she feels its not money but love, loyalty and support that make life beautiful. The third angle in the story is provided by Sohail Khan who has a crush on Kareena.

The movie is set for Diwali release.

Now, rumour has it that actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and even Deepika Padukone can be considered for the lead role opposite SRK.

A source revealed to a daily, "Asin met Ashutosh at his Khar office four days ago. He told her that he was keen to have her on board for his period drama."

Asin, had such faith in her new director that she didn’t even listen to the full narration of the project but agreed to it on the spot. The actress told him that she has seen his previous films and was looking forward to working with him."

A source close to Ashutosh commented, "Yes it is true that Asin is in his film. The formalities will be completed soon."
